LA PAIX was not created to exist quietly.
It was built from lifelong friendships -many perspectives shaped over time, in constant dialogue. Not always aligned, but always moving forward. What began as shared experience became shared resistance. What held it together was trust.
LA PAIX operates on the belief that creativity is a form of protest. Against sameness. Against expectation. Against the pressure to explain, dilute, or conform.
The name is intentional.
Not soft, not passive.
Peace as something constructed.
Defended. Claimed.
We exist in contradiction.
Calm and conflict.
Unity and friction.
Silence and noise.
This tension is where the work lives.
The founders remain anonymous.
Not for effect, but for necessity.
To remove ego. To reject authorship as identity.
To protect the space required to speak freely, without permission or consequence.
What matters is not who made it.
It’s what it says.
LA PAIX is collective in nature.
An ongoing exchange between individuals, references, cultures, and ideas.
A rejection of singular vision in favour of something built together.
The work draws from protest movements, underground systems, and the visual language of resistance. Uniforms, symbols, artefacts-reworked into something current.
Something worn. Something lived in.
Garments are not products.
They are statements.
This is not seasonal.
It does not follow cycles.
It documents a mindset.
Ongoing. Unresolved. In motion.
